This reminds us of the great philosophers/teachers of ancient Greece, such as Socrates, who taught not only through speaking and explaining, but by living the lofty ideals which philosophers embraced through their noble character. It also reminds us of great saints and sages of all religions, who taught and inspired, instructed, and transformed thousands of people through their example.
